My shop - Teeth and Claws is getting a makeover...

Just a quick note to all the lovely folks who visit my Teeth and Claws shop and buy my illustrated beasties, you'll notice that my shop is currently out of action, this is intended, as I'm currently migrating to a new platform which is taking a little time to implement. I am working on this as quickly as I can, but I want to make sure to dot the i's and cross the t's before I relaunch so in the meantime, if you'd like to place an order I'd like to point you towards my etsy shop-

Many thanks for your understanding, I hope to have Teeth and Claws back up and running, with an improved shop very soon :)

A trip to London for the Showcase 100 Illustration exhibition...

Yesterday I escaped my Nottingham studio and took the train down to London for the day for the Showcase 100 exhibition at The Framers Gallery, a fantastic illustration exhibition featuring 100 illustrators (99 plus me) covering a huge range of illustration styles, topics and mediums. There were aliens, there were monsters, there were cows, rockstars and astronauts, really something for everyone.  Showcase 100 is run by the superb Little Chimp Society- huge thanks to Darren and Jane for organizing it all!

It was a real pleasure to visit the show and see my work alongside such talented illustrators. My contribution to this? Chickens :)

My chicken illustration, framed and hanging in the Showcase 100 exhibition at the Framers Gallery.
All the illustrations have been printed as archival prints and beautifully framed, and are available to buy at the show. There is also the exhibition catalogue designed and put together by Darren Di Lieto of the Little Chimp Society, it's a lovely book, full of all the wonderful artwork in the show as well as sketches and notes about the illustrators. I was delighted to bring one of these home with me :)

You can buy one of the exhibition catalogues online directly from the Little Chimp Society here - Showcase 100 Exhibition Catalgue

As well as the Showcase 100 exhibition I visited a couple of museums - including the Grant Museum of Zoology, The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, visited many bars, and spent quite a lot of time just outside, enjoying probably the nicest day of the year so far...
